(KPL) Standing Committee of National Assembly discussed the state’s budget plan for 2009-10 yesterday.
The annual meeting of Standing Committee for National Assembly took place at the National Assembly under the chairmanship of President of National Assembly, Thongsing Thammavong,.yesterday.
The meeting discussed various issues on economic and financial plans and it also considered the expenditure plan of the Government.
The committee also heard a report on the works of the state audit and inspection unit 2008-09.
Then the members of the committee discussed the 16,197 hectare Phou Hinboun forest reserve which was recently surveyed for mining.
