Vice President of National Assembly Saysomphone Phomvihane received on May 9 in Vientiane a courtesy visit from visiting International Committee of the Red Cross Regional Delegation Deputy Mr. Fred Grimm. At the amicable talks, Mr. Saysomphone told the guest he highly valued the visit to Laos of Mr. Grimm and the assistance the ICRC has extended to Laos and her people in recent years.

Mr. Grimm informed the host of the contribution of the ICRC extended to Laos and the cooperation between the Lao Red Cross and ICRC in recent years in providing humanitarian assistance, especially to vulnerable people in the Lao people.
